Open borders are the devil in this game, and your "friends" will happily and instantly claim any system cleared by threats like the Khan or Tempest. which is one of the reasons I've largely given up on allies. Going from the wiki, I think this must be a bug of some kind, as there should have been some event. The net result is that I have a few extra systems. I thought it might be the "Gray" event but the only nanite world in the area didn't have a "Level 3 Surface Signature anomaly" as described by the wiki.Īt this point, I have just spent a TON of time and energy and research and am very disappointed that nothing interesting happened.
( ) - Obviously this wasn't the Gray Tempest, Dessanu Consonance, or the L-Drakes. I checked the Stellaris wiki, and there were supposed to be 4 possible things that could happen. There were a couple anomalies, but they were of the normal type (adding resources to planets.) There were no interesting pop-ups, nothing happened. (I have played with the L-gate in other games, and there were different results then.)Īt this point, I have gone through, surveyed every single system that was behind the L-gate, claimed them, and researched all anomalies.
No pop-up saying anything about what's going on, nothing. I played through the game, finished all the crisises, and finally got to a system with the L-gate and opened it.
